Really not all that it’s cracked up to be, portions are small for the pricing, the hostess & wait staff were really nice and attentive. The food isn’t good at all just looks good for photos but taste wise ???? no bueno. Also the food description on menu doesn’t match what you actually receive. You should get a new cook.2 stars are for friendly staff and the self poured mimosas. No stars for food.
Another Perfect spot! The ham and turkey club was packed with knife carved, hearty portions of meat.... no processed meat here. Accompanied with a sourdough blt were homemade fries, with a side of cool and refreshing, pickled cucumber and red onion salad. Top that with an Arnold Palmer and lunch is set. Ideal location for small parties, and meetings....there is also outside dining. Service was on point, the food was well made and tasty, it was also served promptly. There are plenty of delicious options, without having to turn page after page of some sticky menu. The menu is perfect and simple. Restaurants as this, make it hard to dine at your local run of the mill franchise dinner houses.
Deviled Eggs were really good. Burger was cooked perfectly to order. Nancy G's Country Club Salad was fantastic, with lots of avocado chunks and bacon. The honey mustard is not too sweet and not too spicy, and the fried chicken breast tasted fresh and not at all greasy. Friendly staff-- however, they get busy when the dining room fills up. So plan to spend a good hour and a half when you come. And they do take reservations, so you might need to do that for the busiest times.
First time at this lovely restaurant to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We did not have reservations for lunch and were seated promptly. Our server Tarek was friendly and highlighted some of the special items on the menu. We ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer and a glass of Prosecco. I had the salmon BLT which had fresh avocado and arugula, tomato and bacon along with salmon filet cooked to perfection between a toasted grain bread. My sister ordered the three scoop salad plate, egg, chicken, and tuna salads, with bibb lettuce and garnishments. For dessert we had Peggy’s pound cake with Carmel sauce and vanilla ice cream AND hot fudge pie. The food was perfection, the service was top notch and the ambience was chill. We sat and talked for an hour after our meal and we’re never hurried to leave. I will definitely be back for brunch and dinner.
This place was a very delicious experience. Fried green tomatoes, Southern fried chicken smothered in gravy with mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans, Nashville fried chicken breast atop sliced Texas toast sized bread with sweet potato fries, Fresh out the oven skillet baked ???? with garlic butter and chive spread. ???? The service was excellent, and the ambiance was selfishly romantic. Nicely lit, not too dim, with views of the outside covered by sheer drapes. There is also an outside eating area. Great for couples, small groups, and even solo brunchers. My first drink ???? wasn't the best but, I settled for a mimosa to end my meal off. I will return to try the meatloaf next and will recommend Southern Bistro to family colleagues and friends. ????????????
