Our son has been a student since age 5 after attending little ninja summer damp and having a great experience. He’s now 8 and has advanced to the beginner classes where his interest in martial arts has continued to grow. He’s learning focus and respect and has a goal to become a black belt. We love KSMA!
I absolutely love the values that are held here. They teach the whole child. The students learn confidence, respect, discipline and self-control. The Master isn’t afraid to correct or discipline a child, whether they’re in the class or not. He supports parents and encourages positive relationships in school AND at home. I would recommend this program to anyone.
I have two children engaged at Kick Start. They absolutely Love it and so do I. As a father, I’ve truly enjoyed watching them develop through Master Beaty’s training program. Developing fine motor skills, confidence, leadership, gaining experience with self defense in a controlled environment and discipline are just a few of the benefits that you can expect from participation in this program. If ya thinking about it, consider giving it a try. I doubt that you would be disappointed. - Demond Nash BKA Gabrielle, Miles & Harpers Dad:)
Master Beaty and all of his student-teachers do an amazing job. The skills learned at Kick Start Martial Arts exceed far beyond expectations. The students are taught respect, discipline, accountability, perseverance and so much more. The focus is on building the child as a whole. Master Beaty personally works with the parents on their goals for their child, whether related to skills, behavior or even school. He holds each student to high expectations and they rise to it.
I have three teen sons who have been training at KSMA since 2019. I brought them in to build strength and confidence, as well as to learn self-defense. I have watched them learn discipline, perseverance, appreciation for strong women leading and training with them, and self-respect and respect for others in a way that fits perfectly with what their father and I have been teaching them all their lives. They may not continue to train at KSMA after they finish high school and go off to college, but I believe they will remember what they have learned the rest of their lives.
