I had been to countless mechanics (and dealerships *shudder*) in the Atlanta area before I came across D.O.G. Auto a couple years ago, and now I refuse to go anywhere else. The first time I brought my car in was for my check engine light. Other shops had tried to diagnose and fix the issue, but multiple repairs and oodles of money later, they still couldn't figure out what was causing the light to stay on. I brought my car to Blandon at D.O.G. Auto, and he did tons of checks to diagnose the problem and finally realized that the problem HAD been fixed earlier... but one of the shops had put the vacuum lines back on incorrectly after the repair. Instead of doing a bunch more repairs, Blandon meticulously and logically looked at all the possible causes to diagnose the issue. And he didn't even charge me at the end of it all. Since then, I've gone to D.O.G. Auto for all my regular car maintenance, and I'll go there any time there's anything wrong with my car. Last night, my car was smoking and leaking fluid. I called D.O.G. Auto this morning, and Blandon said he could check it really quickly, even though he was all booked up for the day. It took him only a few minutes to see that I needed a new radiator. He said he'd fit me in and I could pick up the car today. I brought it in around 10:30 am and was back home with the repair complete before 2:00 pm. I would bring my car to D.O.G. Auto even if I lived OTP. Blandon is the most honest, meticulous, knowledgeable, and efficient mechanic I've ever been to. He doesn't do work that's unnecessary, he doesn't try to screw you over on prices, and he actually explains why he's doing what he's doing. That's probably why his business seems to be thriving, and has been for years, despite being in the middle of Midtown and not easily visible from the road (it's attached to the Shell gas station, and if you blink, you'll miss it). Don't bring your car anywhere other than D.O.G. Auto.
We where coming from Florida to go to a concert in Atlanta, and our belt was about to come off, we Sat in the hotel room looking at all the options for auto repairs and we ultimately decided to go with this place, and I'm glad we did this amazing guy started working on our car before he even opened and help us get home, thank you man I really appreciate your work

Caught a nail in our tire during a 5 hour drive. We were able to get to it this shop since it’s in a convenient location. They looked fairly busy, but we’re able to immediately help us get it plugged and some air. Took only 10 minutes and cost $20 for the tire repair, which is very fair and reasonable. Highly recommend this shop
